I think Nancy does an excellent job summarizing the atmosphere. The only thing I might add is that the interior is tastefully decorated and bright and cheery, something that will no doubt be welcome in January!
We were impressed that everything is made from scratch and the food is cooked to order. Ben ordered the felafel and I ordered the kafta, both of which were served rolled in a pita with a side of chips or potato wedges. Jonathan got an order of hummus and a fruit salad. Both Ben and I enjoyed our pita rolls. There were plenty of crunchy veggies, and the felafel and kafta were both seasoned well. The hummus was served in a generous portion and was awesome.
For dessert we split a multi-level cheesecake. It is not as big as it sounds, just a small round cheesecake no more than 3" tall but affordably priced at $2.79. This was great as well. There was a nice balance between the sweetness of the cheesecake and the sharpness of the dark chocolate.
We enjoyed our experience and recommend you stop in next time you are in the Mayfield Heights/Lyndhurst area. You can't beat the homemade taste and quality for the price.

I have been to Tastee Bites multiple times for lunch and to grab some food before I head out of town. The food is delicious and keeps me coming back for more.
